I ran five miles this morning (555 miles). I ran into a couple wonderful people that I know, Nikki Gerard (above) and Verna St Denis (if you look close you can see her running across the bridge). I was quite amused by the gophers and their chubby little bodies lined up as they munched away on their AM breakfast. I also found the most beautiful little rose that had a very busy and determined bumble bee making the most of his visit to the little princess. My apology to the cyclist that I almost stepped out in front of when my attention and legs darted toward the little rose : ) I hope you heard me say "sorry" as you sped away!
