Moving towards 900 miles

I ran 5 miles yesterday and another 5 tonight (829 miles). It is getting dark earlier and earlier and by six o'clock we have already lost most of our daylight. It has been nice running the last couple days, no wind, about 5 degrees and beautiful scenery.  What more could you ask for? Towards the end of my run I ran into Michael Robin from Saskatchewan Health Research Foundation and snapped a quick picture.

October sunshine!

I ran 9 miles (819 miles) this afternoon which luckily was the nicest part of the day. The sun came out and it was beautiful. I met a very nice family from Washington State who were visiting their daughter and grandkids. The river was alive with people enjoying the sunshine and nice weather. I also met another runner, Dan who was so kind to take my picture also. Earlier in the day Skender and I explored the river bank near our house. Sken loved walking on the rocks and it was nice to play along the river bank after being stuck inside with the flu all last week.
